These jumps are produced with pressure treated lumber - pressure treated wood generally prevents the need for sanding and crack filling. Unpainted jumps come pre-drilled with assembly hardware.
All our painted jumps are sanded, crack filled, and many of the custom items also have a clear coat of varathane sealer to extend the life of the wood.
