September 2004 - Jumps West was selected from over thirty national competitors to design a new Hunter Course for Cotton Creek Farm, in Sugar Hill Georgia. The Blankenship family, a local family whose farm will be featured on the FOX new reality series, RENOVATE MY FAMILY, lost their family home to a fire last spring.
Jumps West, in partnership with expert course designer Ruthanna Bridges of Bridges Training Stable will showcase their design and beautiful new Hunter arena course which airs in early October, 2004. The focus of the show is to give the family, which was devastated by a fire that burned their home to the ground, a new lease on life with a whole new house, personal appearance and lifestyle improvements, a renovated barn, and a brand new jump arena.
The new Hunter course includes all new PVC jumps with custom paint work and the family's Cotton Creek logo, a seven jump (two oxer) course with heights 2'3" to 2'6" designed for intermediate riders which can be ridden either direction. Based upon input from Jumps West and Ruthanna Bridges, the Fox team added all new grading, footing, fencing, and landscaping
The quality products we provided are designed to improve people's lives and make their arena both more usable and enjoyable. For a humid climate like Georgia's, PVC is ideally suited since it lasts longer and does not need the constant repairs and maintenance of traditional wood. Plus, with both boarders and students coming to the farm, PVC is much easier to move around when setting up different schooling course configurations.
